The LA Times article title said it best, “As bedbugs multiply, new insurance plans crop up.” They are one of the many newspapers reporting on the rise in brokerage firms offering bed bug insurance. According to the Los Angeles Times, last month, bedbug insurance coverage was offered for the first time by two national brokerage firms, Aon Risk Solutions of Chicago and New York-based Willis North America.
